At Beachfront Sober Living, we provide a nurturing, trauma-informed environment specifically designed for women in recovery. Our women’s sober living program addresses the unique challenges women face during their recovery journey, including trauma history, co-occurring mental health conditions, relationship patterns, and the need for safe, supportive sisterhood.
We understand that successful women’s recovery requires more than just completing addiction treatment—it requires ongoing emotional support, a community of women who understand your struggles, and a safe space where you can heal from past wounds while building a new future. We work closely with Orange County’s premier women’s addiction treatment centers to provide a seamless continuum of care for women transitioning from treatment to independent living.

Our trauma-informed environment helps women navigate these challenges while building the sisterhood, self-compassion, and emotional tools essential for long-term recovery success.
Our women's sober living program provides a structured yet nurturing environment that promotes healing and personal growth. Daily routines, women's group meetings, shared household responsibilities, and peer support help women establish healthy patterns while having the freedom to rediscover who they are in recovery. Research shows that women benefit tremendously from gender-specific recovery environments where they can address trauma, process emotions, and build authentic connections with other women. Our program creates a safe space where women can be vulnerable, work through shame, and develop the self-compassion essential for lasting recovery.

Absolutely. We strongly encourage residents to maintain employment or attend school. Rebuilding financial independence and pursuing education are important parts of women's recovery. Many of our residents successfully balance work or school with their recovery program and self-care practices.
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community with approved pets only. Pets can provide emotional support, companionship, and unconditional love that many women find healing during recovery.
We do not believe in condemning women who relapse, as shame often worsens the situation. Instead, depending on the circumstances, we may require returning to detox or additional treatment to support your recovery journey. We approach relapse with compassion while maintaining the safety of all residents.
Women's-only sober living eliminates romantic distractions and creates a space where women can focus entirely on their healing. It allows women to be vulnerable with other women, discuss female-specific challenges openly (trauma, relationships, motherhood, body image), and build the sisterhood and emotional safety that many women find essential for lasting recovery success.
While children cannot live in our sober living homes full-time due to structure and regulations, we strongly support women in their motherhood roles. We accommodate visitation schedules, provide support for parenting challenges, and help women navigate custody and family reunification as part of their recovery journey.
While we don't provide formal trauma therapy on-site, our environment is trauma-informed and our staff are trained in trauma-sensitive approaches. We work closely with local trauma therapists and treatment centers, and we encourage residents to engage in trauma work as part of their comprehensive recovery plan.
Yes. We recognize that many women struggle with eating disorders, body image, and unhealthy relationships with food. While we provide supportive sober living, we work closely with Asana Recovery's outpatient eating disorder treatment program for women who need specialized care. Asana offers comprehensive treatment for anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and body image issues while residents live with us. This combination of clinical treatment and supportive housing allows women to address both their addiction and eating disorder in a coordinated, body-positive environment.
